The new Twist-In media cartridge design makes filter changes simple, easy and clean ï¿½ no tools required and no mess! The Aquatic Life Twist-In 100 GPD 3-Stage Reverse Osmosis (RO) and 4-Stage Reverse Osmosis Deionization (RODI) filtration systems are very compact water purification solutions that efficiently combine reverse osmosis RO and DI technology with our quick and easy to change twist-in replacement filter cartridges. The new twist-in media cartridge design makes filter changes simple, easy and clean ï¿½ no tools required and no mess! The twist-in cartridges can be easily changed in only seconds with just a quarter turn and without contact with used filter material, and the supply water to the unit does not have to be turned off to replace any cartridge. STAGE 1 ï¿½ TWIST-IN SEDIMENT FILTER CARTRIDGE: Recommend replacing every 6 months. The first stage of your RO unit is a 5-Micron Sediment Filter that traps sediment and other particulate matter like dirt, silt and rust which will affect the taste and appearance of your water. Item 330377.

STAGE 2 ï¿½ TWIST-IN CARBON BLOCK FILTER CARTRIDGE: Recommend replacing every 6 months. The second stage of your RO unit is a Carbon Block Filter. The Activated Carbon in the filter reduces chlorine by up to 99% and conditions the water prior to the RO Membrane. Item 330379.

STAGE 3 ï¿½ TWIST-IN RO MEMBRANE FILTER CARTRIDGE: Recommended replacing every 1-2 Years. The RO Membrane reduces impurities known as Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) from the water down to 1/10,000 of a micron, reducing arsenic, lead, parasitic cysts, copper and more. Item 330375.

STAGE 4 ï¿½ TWIST-IN MIXED BED COLOR CHANGING RESIN DEIONIZATION CARTRIDGE: Replace filter when resin changes color completely to amber. When all resin has changed color, it is time to replace the DI filter. Item 330380.

Aquatic Life Twist-In Water Saver Upgrade Kit: The Aquatic Life 100 GPD Twist-In Water Saver Upgrade Kit will increase the production of any 100 GPD reverse osmosis (RO) or reverse osmosis deionization (RODI) unit up to 200 GPD without any additional water usage. With the waste water line from the first membrane feeding the water supply to the second membrane you can increase from approximately three gallons per hour to six gallons per hour! If your home's water pressure is less than the recommended 65 PSI you can add our Smart Buddie Booster Pump, which only takes a couple of minutes to install.
Produce more water and be easier on your sediment and carbon cartridges. By operating the membranes in series you are using the already filtered water and feeding it through two membranes. Great way to save water and your cartridges. With the Twist-In Water Saver Upgrade Kit you will receive both a Membrane and DI cartridge on the same mount. This allows you to filter the RO water through the DI prior to merging the two filters line together with the included Y connection. Our Twist-In Water Saver Upgrade Kit can be used on any 100 GPD model of RO unit, not just our Twist-In models.

Recommended Conditions:
ï¿½ Minimum Water Pressure to maximize output - 65 PSI
ï¿½ Max Water Pressure to the membrane - 90 PSI
ï¿½ Recommended Water Temperature - 77ï¿½F
ï¿½ Recommended Max TDS - <300ppm

Water pressure can be increased by adding our Smart Buddie Booster Pump, addition plumbing and arrangement will be required for your RO/DI system if a pressure increase is needed. Low pressure will cause slow production of filtered water and excess production of wastewater. Pressure over 90 PSI may cause damage to the RO/DI units components.
