Ultramax BT is a new version of our classic filter that is more convenient to use than ever before. All options in this version can be set via your mobile device – smartphone or tablet. Take care of setting the power, flow or switching on without going to the aquarium! Just download and install the Aquel BT app (check the Android or IOS store).

Infinitely adjustable power output

The filter performance control is extremely simple and intuitive. You set the desired power level on your phone and the filter responds accordingly after a while. The control is infinitely adjustable – you set the appropriate percentage of filter power on the clear axis.

Flexible flow modes

Choose from 4 flow modes such as constant, pulse, sinusoidal or intermittent and adapt the filter to the animals and plants in it. Different “ripple” modes allow you to simulate natural environmental conditions. This stimulates fish and plants to grow healthier and improves their living conditions.

Filter adapted to the daily rhythm

Conditions similar to natural ones – this is the dream of many aquarists. But is it possible to keep animals and plants close to nature in your own home? With Day&Night it is possible!

The Ultramax BT filter allows the flow to be regulated as in open tanks, where the nighttime swell differs from the daytime swell. Simply enter the times you want the filter to run slower and the night mapping will take place. In addition, you can set a more moderate operation for times when fish are feeding so that they are not subjected to additional stress. The filter will begin to gradually reduce the flow rate so that it returns to the set speed just as gently when the feeding is over.

Prefilter

The voluminous pre-filter has a capacity of up to 0.6 litres and is integrated into the lid of the unit. It effectively traps large debris, thus significantly reducing the frequency of filter servicing. The pre-filter protects the filter media from faster wear and the filter from clogging.

Cleaning the pre-filter itself is very simple and does not even require removing the unit from the cabinet. Just lift the lid, remove the sponge from the basket and rinse it.

Double ball valve system

Aquarists know that a critical phase of work requiring access to the inside of the filter is usually disconnecting the supply and drain hoses from the unit. Water that remains in the filter usually spills out onto the floor, causing legitimate irritation.

To prevent this, a patented double ball valve system is used. These simultaneously close the inlet and outlet of the filter in the housing and the hose clearance. This prevents uncontrolled water leakage.

Fully equipped

You will receive the Ultramax BT aquarium filter complete with cartridges of the appropriate size for mechanical and biological filtration. We have also included the necessary accessories. You can be sure that the filter is ready for operation immediately after purchase.

The starter kit contains a complete set of accessories needed to install and commission the filter:
