Key Features
- Multifunction LED Controller: Easy-to-use digital display, shows current & set temp. Set temp. with “+” or “-” buttons.
- Memory & Constant Temp: Retains settings during power outages,
resumes heating when power returns, flashing light indicates 1°F/1°C
below set temp.
- Dry burning protection, over temperature alarm, memory, intelligent temp. control, ℃/℉ conversion.
- Temp. range: 59℉-93℉, ±1℉ accuracy. Auto stops heating at >95℉ (LED flashes “HH”, beeps), resumes at <93℉.
- The heater shuts off if 5cm above the water, flashes “E1” & beeps. Resumes heating when submerged.
- Safe, high-temp fish tank heater with ABS guard, explosion-proof
quartz, & nickel-chromium wire. Stable, efficient, durable, and
long-lasting. Perfect for fresh & marine aquariums.
Durability and Stability
The hygger 102 quartz tube heater boasts the most resilient double
quartz tubes, making it versatile for aquariums ranging from 5 to 280
gallons. Perfect for saltwater and freshwater fish tanks, turtle tanks,
small ponds, and various other aquatic environments. This aquarium
heater is engineered with advanced safety features to prevent dry
burning and includes over-temperature alarm protection, memory
retention, and intelligent constant temperature regulation functions.
Memory Function and Automatic Heating
The quartz tube heater retains its temperature settings even when the
power is interrupted, ensuring that your aquarium maintains the desired
temperature until power is restored. The heater will flash and initiate
heating when the water temperature drops 1°F/1°C below the set point.
However, it will resume heating if the water temperature falls below
93°F to maintain safety and effectiveness.
Temperature Protection Mechanism
If the water temperature exceeds 95°F, the heater will automatically
cease heating, the LED will flash “HH,” and an audible beep will sound.
Heating will resume automatically when the water temperature drops
1°F/1°C below the set temperature.
Multifunction LED Controller
The smart constant temperature digital display controller is
user-friendly, allowing you to monitor and adjust the current and set
water temperatures easily. Use the “+” or “-” buttons to input your
preferred temperature, and switch between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉)
with ease through the controller.
Overheating & Out of Water Alarm Protection
The quartz tube heater operates within a temperature range of 59°F to
93°F with an accuracy of ±1°F. If the heater is positioned more than
5cm above the water level, it will automatically shut off, the LED will
flash “E1,” and an alarm will sound. The heating function will resume
once the heater is fully submerged in water.
Rapid Heating, Safety, and Durability
Constructed with an ABS guard, the quartz tube aquarium heater
features a high-temperature-resistant nickel-chromium wire for heating
and silicon carbide for thermal conductivity. The heating element itself
is made of explosion-proof quartz. This design ensures the heater is
stable, efficient, and safe, offering a longer service life and extended
heating performance.
Usage Tips
1. Complete Submersion: Ensure the heater is always fully submerged in water; avoid burying it in sand or exposing it to air.
2. Power Disconnection: If you need to cease the heater’s operation,
unplug the power socket and wait 15 minutes before changing the water or
removing the quartz tube heater.
3. Controller Protection: Keep the external temperature controller away from water, as it is not designed to be waterproof.
4. Installation Position: We suggest installing the heater underwater
near the water intake, vertically or horizontally. Vertical placement
is space-efficient.
5. Water Circulation: Utilize a wave maker or circulating pump in
your fish tank. Effective water circulation aids in the even
distribution of heat. 6. Maintenance: Regularly clean the heating plate to maintain heating
efficiency. Impurities on the heating plate can reduce its performance.
