Our newest gecko diet formula with the delicious taste of fig and is loaded with insects. This banana-free formula has a strong fig smell and flavor to entice your picky geckos to really chow down. The absence of bananas is perfect for geckos that do not seem to like banana flavor foods.

By using other fruits as the base, we were able to incorporate fig into the diet while avoiding oxalic acid. This formula incorporates insects as the primary protein source, in fact it contains more than double the amount of insects as our original Pangea Gecko Diet with Insects™ formula.

Pangea Gecko Diet with Fig & Insects™ blends a bit thinner than other formulas due to the absence of the thick consistency from banana powder, but geckos seem to like this thinner mix. It can be more difficult to see lick marks in the food bowls, so we recommend offering smaller amounts of food to begin with to see the food disappear.

Directions

Mix 1 part powder with 2 parts water and adjust to achieve desired consistency. Prepared mix is good for up to 7 days if refrigerated. Open dry mix is good for 6 months at room temperature or 1 year if refrigerated. Unopened products are best before 24 months (see expiration date). Occasional insect feedings are recommended but are optional.
